ABOUT THE CCCSCA

We are the California Community College Soccer Coaches Association or CCCSCA. We have ten conferences throughout the state with five each in north and south. There are 89 colleges that currently play soccer. Our membership is for community college head soccer coaches but in addition we have a 4-year coach registry with over 350 coaches listed. This registry assists 4-year soccer coaches in recruitment of our community college soccer players.

The association's executive committee is made up of seven officers (President, president-elect, past-president, showcase coordinator, awards coordinator, treasurer and secretary), two regional presidents (north and south) and eighteen elected conference representatives.

As an affiliate organization of the California Community College Athletic Association or CCCAA, the CCCSCA works within their framework to present or influence legislation that impacts our game. We work in concert with the CCCAA to make our regular season, our play-offs and any other event we host is a quality experience for everyone involved.

A primary function of the CCCSCA is to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of our players and coaches. The CCCSCA sponsors the following awards.

For players:

  • All Southern California Team
  • All Northern California Team
  • All State Team
  • Scholar-athlete Team
  • Sophomore Showcase Event

For the teams:

  • Third place trophies (4) at the State Championships

For the coaches:

  • Passes for free entry into CCCSCA regular season and playoff games
  • Southern California Coaches of the Year
  • Northern California Coaches of the Year
  • State Coaches of the Year
  • Hall of Fame
